does this soft jacket have a protective layer over it? If yes than would it make the psp screen look blurry at all?? i might get one

You'll be calling it your 'fuzzy' soft jacket soon after purchasing this. This thing will pick up every dust, lint, and hair particle like a magnet. I bought one made of the same material for my iPod, and with the same consequences. I won't doubt that it protects well, but it will become an instant eye-sore, guaranteed.

they gotta make something squishy but not dust attractive... i need to become a chemist and save the world of all minor inconveniences!

This looks pretty good like the Power Support Silicone Jacket. However, the Soft Jacket by Capdase also comes in black color and appears to be around $15.
'Soft Jacket' by Capdase $15

'Silicon Jackett' by Power Support $35-42 (comes with pretty good screen protector)

I have one for my iPod, the real problem isnt the dust sticking to the outside, its what gets under the skin thats a problem.
I put the skin on my iPod a week after I got it when it was in perfect condition. If you take the skin off, its COVERED in scratchs from all the stuff that gets under the skin.I dont recommend these cases for this reason. Best thing you can do is get a hardcase or use your softcase, and get a good screen protector. Oh, and USE your wrist strap (I know its annoying), cause it could save you alot of crying when someone bumps into you and your fragile child starts to fall.

i have one for my ipod and i haven't had any of the scratching problems at all. in fact it saved my ipod when it fell in the sink once!
i ordered one (black) and will post my thoughts on it once it arrives.

the cool thing about this one (capdase) is that it pretty much covers the whole psp including the back with a removable umd slot cover and a removable screen protector. that way there is no mucking about with one of those garbage plastic film screen protectors..
it looks well made also.
+
I just received this skin in black and right off the bat I had to trim a lip on the back that prevented the umd door from opening.
I'm taking the skin off carefully and the f-in thing tears! It's not the same material that most of the rubber skins are made of and will tear very easily! You are warned!
+
I got this thing and it poped off my anloag stick when taking the skin off, plus it covers a bit of the screen, not recommended.
+
It also covers the sound holes
+
This thing looks more ugly than those monsters in some game on the Sega...well, if you drop it, it'll be a beacon of light...or ugliness.
+
DOES IT COVER THE SCREEN TOO??? I NEED HELP HERE.
+
Oscar - yes, it does. It has a removable hard plastic to protect the screen.
All - this Capdase case is made with Capdase's new "Dust Off" Silicone material, therefore, lint just brush right off, unlike the old "Silicone Skins for iPod" made by the same company. Even the rest of the Silicone Skins for iPod, Palm, PDA, Mobile Phones, etc. all have their materials changed to this new "Dust Off" material.
