The Con puts a gritty spin on the fighting genre. It is set in an underworld of no-holds-barred bouts and high-stakes gambling. Players will create a fighter who will specialize in one of five combat styles-- boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do and Jeet Kune Do.

In the game's story mode, players will train their fighters solo or in team of three, which increases the strategic element. Players can also engage in straight head-to-head matches in ad hoc multplayer, which will support up to two players.

The Con also has several features not found in most other fighting games. First is the addition of gambling, which will allow players to bet on their own fights--which they can then deliberately lose to win big. The game also sports an "image import" feature which will allow players to import photos from a PC (via the PSP's Memory Stick Duo) to add to their in-game character.

ADD TO WISHLIST I HAVE IT Other PSP Fighting Games

I think this game looks F'n awesome man im sooo excited for it.
The idea has sooo much potential.

some things i hope they do

1. Incorporate more fighting styles so you can have one main syle and 2 other types and you could switch between them like in mortal combat deception. (will improve fighting)

2. You have to train to develope your fighting and you can develope specific abilities within your skills like striking/ground moves/submissions/grapeling (of course done in a mini game type format)

3. A fighting mode in which you can use characters already in the game and not your own character. (more modes the better)

4. A story mode with many different options depending on what orde you fight your opponents and who you fight. In turn providing many different outcomes and twists that your story can have in it (this will raise replay factors)

5. Lots of unlockables and things you can buy with your money.

6. Play your own music during gameplay.

7. any other really cool things they can think of.

They better put in some decent modes or else it'll be kind of plain - fighting games really need extra modes like story modes or quest modes nowadays or they tend to get boring a lot faster.

awesome, this thing has game sharing, you can go head to head with only one copy of the game

shame the game doesnt look too hot graphically (looks more like a bad PS1 game)
