The Wand of Wishing brings a hidden Petpet world of Petaria to life in 3D for the first time. Players move through the game using characters they create from among four popular Petpet species and, utilizing the wireless Ad-Hoc mode, can compete head-to-head in the Battledome using their characters from the single-player game.
In their search to overcome evil and recover the fabled Wand of Wishing, players will discover more than 100 unique characters and enemies, as well as have the opportunity to collect and use over 800 items. You kiddin? I'm lucky my 3 year old girl loves megaman and mario. Sure, I'd let her play with some animals too...Starfox, Sonic, Crash...juz to name a few...but this? I'm not even letting her see Pokemon or other similar crap.

This game might do good and it might not. It just depends. People might buy this game because the played neopets on the internet.

Aaargh Neopets is Evil. Very very Evil. Please do not buy this game. I'm saying this even though I know nothing about it.
Seriously though, basing new games on an old tired and repetitive franchise does not work. Especially when they take that concept into new and dangerous territitory. An RPG where you control something most people have never heard of in a world most people know nothing about. Guest starring your favourite completely unrecognisable character who you are supposed to know like the back of your hand but instead find about as recognisable as an exasperated owner of this game who has commited suicide by jumping off the Empire State Building. <breathe>
I guess I'll be seeing you on release day then. Even though I live in the UK so the game will probably never hit shops near me...
