OMG, I just read the EGM reviews. They killed it. 4.5 4.0 6.0 Terrible. And this was the game that was delayed so long and hyped for the last few months since the psp was out?? Sheesh. Maybe I should withdrawl my preorder. Anyone else seen reviews? Disappointing. I am starting to think the psp is more of a movie machine than a game one. The movies are more impressive for their quality.
OPM also gave it a bad review. But I wasnt really sure why. There explanations werent to good. Just like controls were different. Camera problems and such. Oh and there biggest complaint that some stuff looked like they stole tf from psychonauts. PSM said the same except for the psychnaughts
similarities ,but game it an above average score of 7. They said even with the camera issues and control scheme that you should still buy it cuz it was fun and the characters were fun. So ill pick it up since I have only 2 games anyway and nothing else interests me.
Damn...I was going to get Coded Arms, but after I read the reviews I decided not to (they were also bad). So my hope was for Death Jr., and now the reviews are equally bad!? Wtf is going on with these PSP games. I don't prefer racing games, I hate sports games, I dont want a MG card game, and everything else has gotten bad reviews! It's first REAL adventure game and its crap?!
I know. Its bumming me out that the quality has been so far lacking. Its like when the PSone first came out. Remember Battle Arena Toshinden? The height was like Rival Schools, Darkstalkers, and Street Fighter series. Its just going to take time for developers to get this system down. The Gameboy has had YEARS to do it. This is still in its infancy.
Since when has ANYONE cared a crap about what EGM says? They have to give away their subscriptions free with copies of Crash Bandicoot to get people to subscribe, for christ's sake.
OPM? Can someone please cite some kind of reliable source for reviews, like Famitsu (The only good gaming mag) or Gamespot?
I liked this game, the load times are great (one green screen load, then during play of level, you wont notice). I got the special stuff from Gamestop, not really worth anyhting. The gameplay is alright AFTER you get the hang of it.
this game isnt really that bad you just gotta know how to deal with the camera isue i just got it yesterday i was a little iffy on buying it but now im glad i did
