Isn't this the same battery that everyone keeps talking about in the forums where the guy is selling them using eBay listings???

Naw, the ebay one looks crappier. This one appears to be made specifically for the PSP as where the other one was meant for any type of battery driven device. This looks like a quality product, the belt clip looks to be a smart idea, and the cable looks nice as well.

pictures can be deceiving. spec is more important when comes to batteries. this is just another choice for ppl to choose from.

I don't see anything above that indicates it's designed more specifically for PSP than TonyWck's battery. The other battery has pics showing it plugged into a PSP as well. The battery clip does not mean it's PSP-specific. By the specs they look about the same size. This battery lists greater power capacity (8-10 hours), I think the other one was 5-6 hours extended charge. This one has no user reports on this site, the other one has a couple people who bought one commenting. This one retails for approx. $50, the other one can be bought online for $35 or on ebay they seem to go for $50+ so far. Tony's battery comes with lots of adapter heads and a case.
However, I'm still not sure I want either one.

Be nicer if we have a link to the manufacturers site to get the specs. Funny that there's a real product in 2 pictures, but the last one is diagram. Would be better if they were all real pics to get a better idea of how it compares to the PSP in size. Looks similar to some of the batteries that we've discussed, in addition to the PowerBank3. The other one's were basically double the size. From looking at the diagram, I'm guessing this thing has multiple plugs for different devices. (yea, just reread captains review...it does) So it doesn't seem to be "just" for the PSP. The cord is basically similar to the PowerBank3's cord, nothing special about it. Both nice. Battery clip? I wouldn't want to be seen holding a PSP connected to a battery on my belt.... it..... looks...... awkward.... I just see a picture of Steve Urkel wearing this on his belt link

I may be wrong.. nut it looks like the thng connects to the top of the PSP. Also it says that it increases the charge time from 2:30 to 6 hours..If I understand this correctly then it means that this is connected to the PSP while the the PSP charges. Now my question would be.. where do you connect the external battery????

TonyWcK, if you took a minute to look at this, it's a little more then just 'plastic put over it'. if you look it's a very well designed case with LEDs, switches, and a belt clip. This is obviously better then your piece of .edited: May 01 2005

So, the ones that Tonyscks has, are not HIS perse, but are imported from a manufacturer who has been selling them for a while. They COULD be had for about 25$, plus shipping, but there seems to be a dearth of them at the moment. As for options, I think the Tonywcks one has many more options, as well coming with a car charger, coming with a AC to DC convertor for a cigarette lighter, meaning one can use ANY cigarette lighter device, IN THE HOUSE and not have to be out in the car. Nice plus. A nice thing too, is the option that with panasonic or other standard type Li-on cells, they can be replaced farly easily over time. I would love to get one now, but don't want to go 50$ plus for an online auction. I doubt this one will be cheaper, proably retail for 40+, since the sony battery can be had for 49.99 and then again at at discount
