Awesome, im glad to see a review of evolution vinyl works. Many peopel speak of decal girl and others, but i especially liked the extra cut outs onthe skins for the speakers and lights. Not a necessity but i prefer it. Great review!

Jummy, it's a good thing I understand how "southerners" speak, so I can agree with your very insightful statement about this review. Well put.

these are some really nice skins. I love the one in the preview image. thanks for bringing this company to my attention.
+
Is this a screen protector as well or is it cut out where the screen is?

it cuts out where the screen is. it's a vinyl cover for the front.

so does this one leave a sticky residue behind when you take it off?edited: Jun 16 2005

evolution is the best company to buy from. Great quality.

 Own it
It's absolutely amazing looking! It should say:
"Turn your boring black PSP into an ugly off-white one!"
+
It is really hard to get it to look as good as the pic, i had to cut and trim it to get it to fit properly
+
I like the TrueVue Dark Gray.

kk sorry guys just looking for some advice. Um.. what would you recommend decal girl or evolution. Cause i like a decal girl skin the best, but the power light is covered up. plz help me out!!!
+
Really mine looks just like the cover and had no problems with it fitting right without cutting anything. The one thing that I did was to turn on the psp so that I could see the lights and properly aline it so I did not have to play with its final resting place. This along with the Hori protector is a nice match, theyre is almost no space between the edge of the skin and the protector.
I got the fire skin instead of the one shown, really helps me when playing in low light places, because the black buttons now stand out easier. It has a nice smooth finish on the skin, but if this ever starts to come off I will replace with the lightest grey one I can find. Most probally from the same company.
The other plus to usign a skin is now I dont see fingerprints all over it like I did before, which in my case is enuf or a reason to use one of these.
I also like some of the designs and patterns of Decal Girls , but she does need to get with the program and punch out the holes, if she did that then I might be swayed to try out hers.edited: Feb 05 2006

Has anyone gotten the mirror chrome version of these skins? If so, is it REALLY a mirrored finish, or ust printed with fake "shine marks?" If I could really have a nice shiny silver PSP It'd RAWK.
[EDIT] I emailed them and they do indeed come in reflective metallic chrome. Be still my heart! I ordered one and I'll put a review up when I get it.edited: Feb 15 2006
