The handheld Sims on GB + DS have so far been suprisingly good, so I've got high hopes for this little number.

well..... no. sims 2 was ment for pc and thats where it should stay!!! i have it on pc nd ive played console versions nd they suck balls. the controlls are just so sh*t!! how can you build a good house with a frikin analog stick??!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also the graphics were ment for pcs with good graphics cards (wouldnt work without a recent model graphics card). so graphics wise..... well it explains its self. nothing about this game was ment for consoles or especially hand helds. simulation games are best left to the pc.
i just dont think ea can do it

Think of it this way: The memory stick you get with the PSP value pack is 32MB let me run that past you again THIRTY TWO MEGABYTES, I know that this is not much when it comes to music, movies, addons (Which there probably will be, you know expansion packs and downloads), etc. But think of the size of the PS2 memory card it is only 8 megabytes, but quite a large percentage of you will or have already invested in a larger memory stick.

Well it is arguable it all depends how good you are with a controller, I mean my firs Sims game was on my laptop which was just a little bit fiddly building with a touchpad but this game might just be good.
