Maxis-EA is redefining this highly-acclaimed franchise and will deliver the classic open-ended gameplay as well as exclusive new features. The Sims 2 on console and handheld will include a completely new aspiration gameplay and new fully customisable content giving players the most authentic Sims experience ever on a console. Players will be able to fulfill their dreams while avoiding their fears and for the first time, will be able to take direct control of their Sim without having to use their cursor. All handheld versions will feature completely unique storylines and will ship simultaneously with the console games.

Sounds intresting and the controls sound like they make the game easier for console play. You will have direct control of the character which will make it less frustrating than curosor. It worked well for the sims on the GBA, if you played it.

Anyone know of any games that have "game sharing" enabled....so you dont have to own the game to play it?

The old Sims games on console had a serious problem with limiting the player to only a certain amount of furniture (due to using small memory cards) which made the game get very boring very quickly. I fear the PSP version will have the same problem. It will allow you to buy, say 20 pieces of furniture, and once you upgrade all the furni to the best available, an income keeps coming and you can't do anything with it because it doesn't allow you to buy anything else. So I am not keeping my hopes up for this one.

jamron, even if any game until now had it, it wouldnt be fully play-abled, as namco classics you can only play like one-two stages as a demo.
Its just ment to be a advertising feature.

Just one thing here Blodia, THIS ISN'T A PS2!!! This is a completely new system that has new possibilities for all you know this game could have as much furniture and other features as Thes Sims 2 on the Computer, so why don't we not jump to conclusions that it will be as limited as the PS2 version, i can almost guarentee they will try their best to put as much in as they can.
