Ive had this since Friday and after reading a few peoples comments from around the web i wasnt expecting too much but i think it is a Top Game but you must not try to compare it to Ridge racer which i also Own and have completed i think they are 2 very diffrent Racing games and the controls and the feel in need for speed are not a smooth as Ridge racer you soon forget the diffrence and after a days play and learning your way around the jap menu its a Top racer with loads to do and will keep you intrested in the game much more than Ridge racer did which in my opinion was too easy to complete ,The 1 downside of NFSR is the Nitrus and the motion blurring which doesnt seem to work to well.i,m still getting into it but i,m finding it hard to put down atm..
umm i have the JAP version already and like i had to have my girlfriend read the japanese to me for me to figure out the whole menu but now im pretty used to it, yeah the jap versions have alot more jap than i expected...
I just picked it up at Wal-mart last night... it's a little hard (for me) to accurately control the vehicle. Graphics are nice, but not nearly as nice as Ridge Racer.
I wasn't pleased with the game and proceeded to trade it in early so that I wouldn't have to think I wasted my money on something I didn't like too much.
i bought nfs rivals the night i got my psp from walmart. within 3 days i already had the game 45% beat. i love the game as for when ya hit the nos and the colors get a little blured....i think it was done on purpose. kinda like in the first major racing scene of F&F movie.....i have now beat almost 80% of the game and have only seen then blury colors when i hit major speeds with the nos. and the only blury colors i do see is like the lights....its not like my car or the street infront of you is all blury and cant see. anyways i love the game and the things that can be done to the cars. i cant wait to get midnight club dub...
For the first hockey game out on the psp it's not bad the frame rate may be a little slow making some of the gameplay choppy but its still fun to kick butt online
this is a great game i bought it before psp came out and waited desperatly until i could pop this thing in. The graphics are amazing and the game play is great I have played it since launch and im hardly 60 percent done
