Hero Jack Slate returns with his canine sidekick, Shadow, to the mean streets of Grant City. Just before an investigation of a major crime lord can get under way, the case's primary informant is kidnapped. Realizing the importance of the abducted's testimony, Jack bends the rules and goes after him solo.
Reckoning will feature new weapons and disarming maneuvers, and it will give Jack greater control over Shadow. The PSP version will also feature head-to-head multiplayer action over the handheld's integrated wireless capabilities.
New immersive storyline, new weapons, new lethal disarms, new hardware.
Trusty dog Shadow returns! - Send Shadow in to wrestle enemies to the ground and finish the attack.
Go head-to-head with your friends - wireless multiplayer DeathMatch gameplay adds hours of replay value.
The perfect mix of mayhem! - Slow-motion choreographed dives, hardcore melee fighting, devastating disarms and super slick kill moves.
Advanced camera system - takes full advantage of the PSP widescreen, allowing players to simultaneously track multiple enemies.
Dead to Rights on consoles i heard sucked, but i never got the chance to play it...maybe because these graphics are so sexy i might finally give it a try.
Man they pulled out all the stops on the violence. This is the first footage I've seen of a _truly_ gruesome game. No negativity there, just an observation. I noticed a lot of Max Payne in the slow-mo diving gun battles. They're showing a lot of takedowns that end in point blank head shots as well. The movement looked a little "stiff" to me... running around with your arms sticking straight ahead of you all the time. If the controls are fluid and easy to pull off, this could be one bad ass game. I can't shake the feeling of a Steven Segal at his prime movie watching the videos of gameplay. This games certainly looks to be better than watching Steven Segal now though... But then again so does that dust ball in the corner of my office.
This game is a RENTAL. I've played this on PS2 and im pretty sure it is going to be the same for PSP. You can easily breeze through the game, since it doesn't really offer much challenge. And the game is short, with repetitive gameplay. I'm an action-game fan myself, but Dead to Rights needs to be more diverse, and offer more replay value. Trust me, you will get bored and if you bought it, you will end up trading it in.
This game reminds me of Ninja Gaiden and his dog from back in the day.
Continuing with the second theme here, lol: I knew what Acid was before release so I didn't buy it. I am still disappointed that they not ony went that route for the game, but that they are doing a sequel now which means they're not trying to please Metal Gear's fans of the ealier series. We're the reason they are where they are today. Acid good game maybe, but I still don't like it.
