Looks like a weak Metroid Prime. Anyone getting this?

I've played a small amount of this game. I was about to pick it up, but it really didn't capture my interest. That could change later, cause the same day I bought Yoshi's touch and go on the DS...felt like using my pen for once. Anyway, this game starts out like a standard sci-fi beat 'em up with upgradable weapons. Suprisingly there is a lot of english displayed (menu and submenu). So it shouldn't be hard to navigate.

I just say this game on IGN and it looks pretty impressive. I would love to see someones review on it. How long has been it out in Japan. The only bad thing I heard about this game is that the stages are similar and square.

The game came out on 27 Jan 05....
I just picked it up yesterday 29 Jan...
Have to play it a bit more before I say whether it is a yeah or nah kinda game... So far it is Yeah!

Just picked this up. I can go thru the portal to get to the 'arming station' I guess but what do I do from there ?? !! I'm stuck !!

Yeah Vipron is right in the game you exchange body parts for weapons. One of the bosses in this game has a gun for a head and swords for arms. For more info hit gamespot.com and click on the PSP on top

This is a cracking game! You start off as a basic humanoid (loosely termed there) and you have to work your way up the tower, defeating other humanoids along the way, with various different arnaments and upgrades for your body. It has a nice lock on feature for you to target other but sometimes the camera is a bit dodgy. I do recommend it if you are into a sort of fighting strategy game.

I got this, will be reviewing it as soon as I get a few hours logged. The graphics look interesting, but I don't like the control scheme or the way the character moves in relation to his environment. They could've done something a bit better with the animation... But it does look fairly deep and complex, not something I've ever played on a handheld before, that's for sure (I'm sure people will be saying that about a lot of PSP games - lol).
