Two years have passed since the events of Final Fantasy VII. Though Midgar-city of mako, city of prosperity has been reduced to ruins, its people slowly but steadily walk the road to reconstruction.
However, a mysterious illness called geostigma torments them.
With no cure in sight, it brings death to the afflicted, one after another, robbing the people of their fledgling hope.
And so Cloud, who walked away from the life of a hero to live in solitude, must step forward yet again.
I was looking at few sites today for this (gamestop, walmart, target, best buy, ciruit city), the only site that had anything on it was Gamestop which is I refuse to buy from, but it says eta of Sept 30
Honestly this movie sucked the fat one, congratulations to the japs for once again making a film that has next to no comprehensible storyline, zilch in terms of character development and all the men look like lady boys. Oh yeah, the action was cool though. Yay.
It was all right. They managed to bring back an assload of characters from the game, which was pretty cool. And the action was excellent even if it was too fast to be comprehended. Still, the final product was not all I expected.
I watched this again yesterday and just noticed for the first time all the songs they recycled from the game. I love when they pay homage to the original aspects of the game like that.

I loved the Tifa fight scene.
They had Pianos in place of guitars for the fight song.
And then his cellphone ringer is the victory tune.
That was awesome.
