is this gonna be like hot pursuit or underground? we need an oldie-arcade style race game
i loved hot pursuit much more than underground

Id have to say I loved underground better you build your own car and run against others and the driving engine is neat. Combination of simulation/arcade style. Im jus hoping that they put infastructure please EA put it. i dont know enough people who have underground one to make the game any fun. INFASTRUCTURE.....INFASTRUCTURE everybody say it with me INFASTRUCTURE

Just picked this one up and like what I have seen so far. The online infrastructure mode was easy to set up and get connected and there were lots of players to play against. Way to go with this one EA.

I love this game personally, but there should be more detail in the game itself. Like the whole wrecked cars. When i bought it I anticipated the wreckage and now I see that there is no wrecking or anything. Seems like Underground 2 with a new story line. Though i play this game very often, Great Game by EA.

I actually bought this game last week at my local Best Buy. It's ok, kind of boring with the same tracks. I'm only at 12 on the blacklist. There is about 16 or 17 challenges so it might be a real short adventure. Not as good as Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition.

I seriously think Need For Speed is the worst racing simulator.
I never said it was the worst racing game, it is pretty fun.
But to win the game you have to be a ricer? "Maybe this giant wing will give me 200 horsepower" or "maybe flame decals or this gigantic hood scoop will get me more horsepower."
I would give it more respect if you can win the game with a clean car and not one that needs an airport to land.
On the other hand all GT games are perfect examples of driving simulators.
If you play NFS all you do is hold right or left or that "speed breaker" crap to do a perfect S or hairpin turn.
You guys should play GT4 and try that.
I don't want to flame the game entirely so I admit that the story is pretty intresting and there could be a story line in GT4.

im pretty sure that this game has infastructure but just on the off chance im wrong i would like to know if it does bec ause i need online i cant play single player.

Dude, this kinda stinks...
i can't play infastructure w/ my security - WPA-PSK
I guess this game doesn't support it - it greys out the connection when it asks to connect - does anyone know why?
It seems to work fine w/ Syphon Filter infastructure - whatever - i have to go over my friends house.. loledited: Apr 10 2006

if you lok inside the little booklet that comes with the game it says how to fix that. its right under the instructions for infastructure mode.
