I went out to the craft store and bought some sticky back felt for .89 cents and lined the inside of the case with that so there is no rattle.

I just got a pack of apple sours. The worst part about this is that I actually have to eat all of the candy to use it. I don't think I've ever said "Gee, I wish I didn't have to eat this deliciously fruity hard candy." But the tin does seem sturdy so that's good.

i put a cleaning cloth ( came with the hori screen pro) at the bottom and i fit 2 umd's. It very good and cheap (pricely). U can fit one more umd, but it doesn't fit that snugly.

I was skeptical at first but it is only $1 & change, plus it comes prepacked w/free candy. Big up to whoever came up with this. Fits my 3 umds & 1 memory stick w/room to spare. I can`t see how it could damage a umd

Works great for 3 and especially for the price. Now my question is, has anyone tried one of those novelty mint tins like the Stewie mints or Happy Bunny?

OMG I dropped my Altoids case one time and it popped open and all the UMD's fell out!
Don't buy it it's cheap!

Wow...this sounds like a worth while thing...I think it would be sweet if altoids heard about this and started printing decal for there tins...probably cut back on ppl throwing them out...

These look pretty cool, though I live in England and have no idea where to get them from over here. Anyone got any ideas?

For anyone interested in getting them in the UK, I found a someone selling Apple Sours for £2.50 for 2 on eBay, which is ok.
It's a bit odd really, as apparently these are made in the UK for the US market, but are not available in the UK!

i have noticed companys do that becasue of the demand, like japan has cantalope flavored kit kat bars but the us doesnt  becasue cantalopes are popular in japan but not as popualr in the us so we dont get the tasty treats, prolly the same with you uk'ers a poll was prolly taken and the majority was not interested in sour mints those they are good as well

This generally works very well... just make sure you put down some sort of padding first. My UMD's plastic is all scratched up from it shifting around against the metal (at least it was only my demo disc).
