Be careful to clean out the altoid case before use. One of my co-workers (idiot) finshed his last altoid and put a game in it without cleaning the tin, so now he has bits of tangerine Altoid in his PSP.
I've noticed if you fit three UMD in the Altoids tin, it leaves just the right room at the top for Sandisk's MemoryStickDuo case. good way to carry arround your extra 512mb.
Warning to anyone who wants to put 5 umds in this, 3 fit comfortably, but 5 is VERY tight, so tight it's hard to get them out. With three, the top one can get stuck on the interior lip of the case sometimes but still removes easily. With 3 you can put the cleaning cloth on top and there's no rattle, with room left over for mem sticks.
On this board you'll see 2 varying opinions on whether you can fit 3 or 5 umd's in the altoids tin, so be aware you'll just have to try it yourself and see which configuraton you personally are more comfortable with. For me, it's no more than 3.
you know if you spray painted it...you'd put your UMD's in and out of it so much that you'd probably chip the paint off...then you have paint chips in your PSP...I don't know about that. Still I fit 4 UMD's snugly in mine with no rattle.
