Intelligent License is an obscure looking Japanese only logic game / puzzler having something to do with a "Practical Intelligence Quotient", perhaps to test your IQ.

i know this topic had nothing to do with the forum but i just wanted to add... i was born in japan and raised pretty traditionally. and even tho i consider myself american, especially after i got my citizenship here, i still find my self feeling a bit offended when someone says the word 'jap'. not even when it is towards me, but when people just use it in a sentences, it kind of bugs me. to be polite, of course i dont say anything but maybe because i dont speak up, people think its not offensive and keep on using the term. just learning about what happend here during the war and knowing that my uncles grew up in concentration camps still does not sit well with me. its not too hard using the word japanese. i have enough respect for others to try and word things out so that what ever i say wouldnt offend anyone around me.
anyyyyyway...
about the game, it looks pretty sweet. i love strategy/brain twisters so i would definatly look into this one. reminds me of this gameboy game they had ... just dont remember the name...

what a strange discussion to come out of some screenshots for a puzzle game.
I don't know any British or Japanese people, but I would figure since people referred to the Japanese as "Japs" during WWII (or at least, I think they did) I wouldn't use the term. that's just me.

I am very impressed with this forum being that it relates two very unrelated subjects. Stereotypes and a video game based on logic.
Looks like a cool game and I am really thinking about getting it seeing as how it is now at my local Best buy!
Just so all of you know, I am of mostly German descent, so that makes me a member of the Caucasoid race. Do I get offended when the military recruiter asks me if I think that I am white? Nope. I don't care because thats all I can choose. I guess I could have said Latino, but that's like saying Bach only wrote spanish polka music!
I think I will buy this very interracial game!

Woo... I am japanese... and i do not find the word jap offensive.
I do enjoy racial humor... but am not racist.
Crackerjap is my name because I am both caucasian and japanese. And if you are curious the 'white' part of me comes mainly from scotland.
I personally think that when people get offended over, ummm, words, noises the mouth makes to enable communication, is downright stupid. They are words, people, and just that. The fact that someone is offended over a noise is preposterous. Society is, in this day and age, too intent on being PC, or politically correct, when, basically, what s right and wrong is in the eye of the beholder. Well, someone who gets offended by a word, I think, is somewhat, just, oversensitive.
How do I envision the future if this continues? We will all call each other person... "hello bill!" said the person cheerily. "how dare you use my name? only I and the others i find close to myself can use that name." said Bill, scowering at person.
I, for one, am proud to be called a 'Jap' it is a word that makes me me; and the fact that it does not offend me, proves that I am a person that loves life and language and that variety of words that we have to convey the same meaning... I can kid around... My friend is an A-rab, and others are 'beaners' and they can joke and call themselves that and it doesn t bother them...
Grow up people. Learn to let things not bother you, you will be happier in the long run...
Now, I, the 'jap,' am going out to go buy intelligence license for the psp. And, yes, I know that this comment is a month past when the last person is posting but, hey, who cares?

I'm curious to try this game...
on another note, I think the major problem with this entire planet is that EVERYONE takes EVERYTHING the wrong way. I wish people would just
shut up sometimes. I read an article in the newspaper about the Epilepsy Society demanding that everyone stop using the term "Brain storming"
because it's offensive to people to have epilepsy. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD PEOPLE!!! W T F?!
