I loved IQ for the PSX! (Only had the demo) But that game was flippen crazy fun ^.^

I agree, if I said to someone "you dirty Jap" then obviously it's offensive but if just used in genereal conversation I'd assume people to be clever enough to spot an abbreviation.

Enough with the conversation about those words. Post your thoughts on this upcoming game. It's not exactly IQ, but it looks very similar in design. I wonder how the gameplay is?

This game looks interesting and may even be fun to play. This seems like a fun puzzle game. The "IQ" part doesn't seem like much of a story(if any at all).
(ALSO- i am obviously American with Chinese, Japanese, and German ancestry, dating way back. I don't find the terms:
(Kraut, Chink, or Jap) offensive.

people need to stop being so damn politically correct. "Jap" is not an offensive term, it's just a short way to say japanese. I don't get offended when "Brits" call me a "Yank". The "N" word is clearly different, because it's not short for anything. Just because the word "Jap" was commonly used to refer to the Japanese during WWII doesn't mean it's automatically offensive.

you're ignorant. if you're not japanese, you're not allowed to give your one sided opinion. just respect people's wishes and don't use the word. too much to ask? do you find the word HONKEY offensive?

not particularly. I'd probably end up laughing at the person that used it though. Besides, Honkey was also a created word that meant offense the first time it was used. Jap is not.
Why am I not allowed to give my opinion just because I'm not japanese? The only reason your not letting me give an opinion is because it doesn't match your own. My guess is that your not Japanese either, so why are you then entitled to an opinion?

i'm offended by the term. as i am with any disparaging terms used against any human being. if someone didn't believe the N word was offensive, they shouldn't be allowed to publically say it isn't, just keep it to themselves. sorry for being harsh, but being a victim of racism in the past, it's a sensitive subject.

This is not the place to debating this what is a racial remark. And i am a american "jap". I am personaly not offended so long as don't use it in a racist context. If you do i hope you burn in the firey pits of hell. =)
