Intelligent License is an obscure looking Japanese only logic game / puzzler having something to do with a "Practical Intelligence Quotient", perhaps to test your IQ.

you don't think "Japs" is an offensive term? do you know any japanese people? go call them that and see if they care.
i'm chinese, and i don't hate the japanese. history is history. you can't blame the people of today for what their country did in the past during WAR TIMES! if you hate the japanese so much, give away all your japanese created stuff. oh yah, that means your precious psp too..
Lotan and Phildo, no I dont find it offensive; I do however find it an abbreviation. "Brits" would also be one. I do however disagree with NobleJms, I have no problem with the Japanese and no problem with calling them Japs as it's easier to type. There is nothing racist there, it's what they are for christs sake.
Brits and Japs are different. the term "Brits" was never intended as offensive, hurtful slang, just another way of identifying british people, like ruskies, yankees, and canucks. "japs" IS, however, an offensive term.. want proof? let's look up the "N" word in the dictionary:
ni$$er n. Offensive Slang
1. Used as a disparaging term for a Black person: “You can only be destroyed by believing that you really are what the white world calls a ni$$er” (James Baldwin).
2. Used as a disparaging term for a member of any dark-skinned people.
now look up Brit: Brit n. Informal
1. A British person.
and now Jap: Jap n. Offensive Slang
1. Used as a disparaging term for a person of Japanese birth or descent.
just cause you don't think a word is offensive, doesn't make it not so... you wouldn't use the "n" word here, would you? so please do not use the word "Jap" or any other offensive terms in these forums.
It's silly to think that 'jap' is offensive, but it is. (Only when used towards Japanese, and not towards jewish american princesses.) Unfortunately, you should just be aware of it.
FYI, 'oriental' is also offensive when used for an asian person.
ok well i wouldn't go as far as saying the word "oriental" is offensive. but i just think of the word "jap" as being offensive to some people the same way the word "black people" is offensive to others.
This is awesome!!! I can't wait until it comes out in a US version! Have you ever played Intelligent Cube for PSone? Not Intelligent Cube Remixed for PS2 (which was garbage because they took the game and tried to make it hip). Check out Amazon.com and eBay to see what people are selling copies for. at least $150 dollars and I'm just talking about about a scratched used cd, which no box/manual/jewel case. It's crazy how good this game was!
Fair enough, I've never see any Japanese person take offence from the word JAP as it is only an abbreviation. However, if it is insulting then I do apologise. However, I cant see the difference between that and Brit.....
the word jap IS an abbreviation. so is the word brit. but brit was never used in a disparaging way. jap was used as a way to put down the japanese during the war. it just stuck.
