i recieved my skin in the mail today. i don't care for it. it makes it look cheap to me. it's such a classy piece of machinery, covering the entire front of it ruins the look.
1. the holes for the action buttons are not perfect circles. hmmm?
2. there are no holes for the speakers. How hard is it to cut two more holes?
3. it stretches fairly easily and becomes misshapen.
4. they should figure out some easier method of application so that everyone can have a sure fit the very first time they apply the skin. it shouldn't be such an ordeal.
i'm a perfectionist and the decalgirl skin just didn't live up to what i was imagining.
I got mine today to. I got the urban camo. I havent put it on yet but it looks different on there sight.
Im hoping it will look better once its on though. Anyhow, yeah i was thinking how good it looks just the way it is.
But i'll at least try it out.
the pictures are misleading. the stickers are NOT like the one you see on decalgirl.com. the 4 holes for the buttons are HUGE. it does not have a flush fit like the pictures. i do not recommend this product unless your buying it to protect your psp (like me).
I got one and applied it almost perfectly ... the left side of the screen is just barely curved. The skin is very good and the only reason you wouldnt like it would be because your a retard and cant put it on straight. gosh
I got the dark burlwood one today. I basically just slopped it onto the unit and it still was as easy to apply as you can imagine. The holes are close but not perfect. Since the speaker holes are deep, it's very easy to cut them out with a sharp exacto when the skin is on the unit. Overall, pretty cool. It's not the greatest thing I've ever seen, but then again, it was seven bucks.
I thought it was kind of hard getting it on. I did what I can , but it just isnt cut perfect. The holes at the bottom are off line a bit as well as the right and left side of the screen. But it makes it look different so thats sort of cool. And it does protect the front from scratchs which basically the reason i got it so i could put in my pocket. I also have the hori on to protect the screen.
the speaker holes are covered up, yes, but they sound isn't muffled at all. I was rather surprised.
fantastic product, but if you're not good with delicate/fiddly finger-work, get someone else to apply it.
took me nearly twenty minutes! at least you can just remove and reapply it though
I just got my Crime Scene skin and it looks really good. I can see why some ppl might be disappointed with the buttons on the right; the holes ARE too big. But since my skin is black I can barely notice it. The left side of the screen is also cruved on mine which is a slight annoyance. It was kinda difficult to get it around the analog stick, but I managed. Also, I bought the backing skin for it aswell (I guess it's a new feature for the site) and the back was a breeze to put on. All in all, Im happy with this product, just realize when you buy it that it IS pretty much a sticker and not some rubber skin which will protect it from falls and such; this wont.
