Even though a King Kong game does'nt sound that interesting. Ubisoft is making it, so it may turn out to be a pretty good psp game.

Sounds interesting - lots of Jungle action & Exploration, fighting off pygmies, escaping from being sacrificed to Kong, final third set in the big city .... I wonder if you'll get the chance to play as Kong as well as the group out to catch him ?

I wonder if the movie will be similar(not in plot, but in the style of moviemaking) to Lord of the Rings. I can't imagine King Kong having elves and dwarves. (but that would be cool, if it were a comedy). For the game, i don't know. I'm not too fond playing games with monkeys... it's just not my thing.

Most people don't realize what Peter Jackson did before Lord of the Rings. If you're unaware of his career in New Zealand prior to Lord of the rings I suggest you check out the following movies:
DEAD ALIVE (freakin' classic. Bloodiest movie I have ever seen)
Meet the Feebles(it's like the Muppets on Crack...not for the easily offended)
Heavenly Creatures(true story about two friends who kill one of the girl's mothers. Strange and interesting. Stars Kate Winslet)
...anyways, hard to imagine what this game will be like since we haven't heard anything about the movie. But, it's King Kong, how different can it be from the other movies?

All you guys should just go and check out link since they have in-depth looks to all the versions of the game. It seems that 70% of the game you spend as Jack in a fps mode. The 30% left is spent being the great big ape in a 3rd person perspective. It involves lots of action and I feel it is probably along the lines of a Tomb Raider with fps style to fight all the creatures you'll get to see in the movie. I'm looking forward to this game but I'm wondering whether I should get the xbox version or the PSP version instead. What do you guys think?
