Joytron System Skin Case Crystal is the slimmest, most user-friendly protection available for the PSP Slim & Lite. Constructed from ICE Polycarbonate, the case protects each part of the system from dirt and scratches. A descendant of Joytron's revolutionary 3+1 System which allows full access to all ports, controls, and change of a UMD without removal of the case.

I recently purchased the Joytron System Skin Case. It's a great product that is definitely worth a buy.
It comes in four parts that are easy to put on as they are to take off. The product is lightweight and
is very slim so it doesn't get in the way of game play. None of the parts get in the way of psp functions as well.

I just bought one of these from a store in my local Japantown... 20 dollars, not bad. It came with a small, very small folding stand. It said, "limited time" so I don't know if its in all. The stand does its job and lets you choose 2 angles to view the PSP while on a stable surface and when clam-shelled close is about 1 inch by 1.5 inches and really thin, ome CM at the very most.

The enclosure is pretty good looking. The store had other colors available for the original psp, but only the one pictured here for the slim.

It does not come with a screen guard so put one one before putting this on.

Joytron PSP Slim & Lite System Skin Case

I was in the market for a PSP case that would fit in my Sony PSP sleeve. After scouring the internet, I came across a blog mentioning the Joytron case. After checking around, and seeing it got good reviews, I decided to buy it.
I ordered straight from the manufacturer's website since they were offering a free PSP stand with purchase. It arrived in a box with Korean writing and not much English, but the packaging looked good anyway.

After cracking open the box, I initially was a little skeptical... it seemed a little flimsy. But once I put it on the PSP it felt great. There were instructions - which I read (they were in English) - but didn’t need. Four pieces in total, the back and front pieces were interlocking and the UMD cover portion was independent of the other pieces. Nice thing about the case is that all the ports, headphone, USB and memory slot are all still easily accessible.

Once it was on I was genuinely impressed, my main fear was that the case would not be snug and the PSP would move around a little causing surface scratching - but this does not happen - to the contrary the case fits snug and tight with no wiggle room.

Overall I like how it looks and it feels nice - my other concern was that it would make my "PSP Slim" into a "PSP Thick" - while it does add a marginal thickness ... it is very thin, and feels good. Another worry of mine was how the buttons would feel with the little case lip...but that also turned out to be a non-issue since the case is so thin.

I am very happy with the case, I don’t think it provides much shock absorption - but it will prevent my PSP from scratched or smudged - which is what I wanted.

Recently I decided to purchase a PSP slim. Anyone who’s held this piece of electronic in their hands knows it’s a perfect marker board for finger prints and feels a bit fragile compared to the NDS. So, like any gamer who has a sense of responsibility to properly care of an expensive piece of electronic which mostly likely is to be used to death, I decided to search for a PSP case. Lo and behold I find the Joytron’s Slim Skin Case.

The case was ordered on a Monday and arrived three days later, which is quite impressive. Everything was packed well. I immediately set to attach the case to my brand new PSP. The parts were relatively easy to put on and I had no problems. The entire case hugged the PSP just right, left just enough space for the buttons and didn’t get in the way of gameplay. The case even provides easy access to the UMD slot which is quite nice. While the case is attached to the PSP it does not obstruct basic usage and access to most parts and I get to appreciate the PSP to its fullest.

One thing you will require however, if you want to fully cover your PSP, is a screen protector because the Joytron System Skin Case does not provide coverage for the screen. Most cases do not have a screen protector though and it is not too much of a problem to buy a screen protector in addition. There are many available including one which Joytron makes.

While the case is one of the more expensive ones out there, about 20 USD, its well worth the price compared to the cheaper quality ones that make your PSP slim look and feel like a brick. It provides the right amount of coverage and isn’t too chunky. I’m really happy with the Joytron case. It even comes with a useful little stand perfect for watching movies on the PSP.

I’ve had my joytron case for a couple of months now and I really like it. It fit’s the psp slim perfectly. The pieces do not slide or wiggle at all. It’s the slimmest case I’ve found. I was actually hoping it would add a little bulk because I have trouble holding my psp slim for long periods of time, bug I didn’t notice any extra bulk. It seems to protect well too. I don’t think you could throw it against a wall but it keeps the scratches off and I think it would protect against a short fall. I paired mine with a semi-hard case for traveling. Shipping was very fast and I got a hand written note just like everyone else thanking me for the purchase. It was very easy and self explanatory to put on. I think I’m going to eventually put on an invisible shield for the screen but I haven’t had any problems with it whatsoever. Great product .
