Has anyone found this cable without the USB (it's not the Nokia ended one, which one?); i.e., just the charger bit, so it can work with all those PDA/accessories USB charger things?

1) To the review that says this doesnt work
Did you know that you have to go to Settings, select USB Connection and hit 'X'?
2) You don't even have to buy this if you have a mp3 player or digital camera or other device that connects to computer with a USB to mini-USB cord.
I just used the USB cord that came with my mp3 player and it works fine with the PSP.

Just a tip, not sure if it works and not sure if/when I'll get a chance to test it but you should be able to save photos from GT4's Photo mode on your psp as it appears to the pc as a usb storage device and should appear to the ps2 as one too, I have done this with my Kingston Datatraveler and worked with out problems, altho I think you will have to move the images for them to be viewable on the psp as the ps2 saves them to "{rootdir}GT4"

Could do with having the connection cable of the USB and powerpoint abit longer... also the powerpoint seemed abit too tight.. have to gentle pull it out from the PSP with the fear of that it might break the connection point.

Well, it works as a normal USB too, I'm sure. So it will allow you to put music, photos, and even video on your PSP IF you know what you're doing.
