i'm with you on this. i'm currently selling my copy of lumines on ebay. i was hugely disappointed by the game. and got bored of it in less than a week... but for some reason, people can sit on their butts and play this game for hours on end... i just don't get it.

BEST... GAME... EVER... well maybe not but it's still extremely good. This game is hugely addictive and when I pick it up I have a very hard time putting it down. Also I love the sleep mode on PSP with this. I can play for an hour, pause it, sleep mode, do whatever, and come back to the exact same spot later on.

i was never really inspired by tetris, but i keep hearing huge reviews for this game. I honestly need some opinions on what to get for my 3rd game. I already have dunasty warriors and nba(unfortunately).

You can try out lumines by playing Verticube, it's the same gameplay only Lumines has more extra's and stuff.
There's also a very basic online game with the same principles as Lumines: Sweep (java)

I love this game, except for one little thing. Whenever I am playing and turn off/sleep my PSP and resume later, it doesn't save properly! It asks me if I want to Load Save Data. Pissed me off when I lost my high score to this.
Oh, and does anyone else seem to play better after a few beers too or is that just me?
Man I'd love to get the soundtrack for this on CD.

Great game. Actually a serious, deep puzzler. Sadly I've put it away for now though because I'm sick of playing through the first 30 levels. If it had a real save feature, it'd be solid.

JUST COMPLETED THE WHOLE GAME WITH ALL THE UNLOCKABLES AND TOPPED OFF AT 999,999,999.. DONT REALLY FEEL THE NEED TO PLAY IT ANYMORE. ONLY REASON TO PLAY WOULD BE TO FILL MY HIGH SCORE LIST WITH 999,999,999.
