I've always been a Tetris addict and puzzle afficionado in general, wonder how this one plays? I hear it's quite good. Any first hand accounts?

Don't have it yet, but I heard the music is awesome. Can't wait for the American release.................tick tock tick tock

I still need to play this more, but although the music is good, I'm not (yet) inspired by the gameplay. I've seen better, more colorful and energetic puzzlers of this type before (like Columns, Puzzle Bobble and other variants). I'm holding off any review until I've given it more of a chance, though.

I'm looking forward to random PSP battles on the street when the NA unit launches. It'll be interesting if the PSP would have some kind of PSP notifier so that you could get a beep if another PSP user is in the area, allowing you to duke it out.

Puzzle & Music is a pretty cool game... Must better if you wear headphones...
Haven't had the opportunity to play against anyone else except for the CPU and I totally get handed my butt by the CPU.

This is a must buy launch title if you enjoy tetris, columns, etc. types of games. It seems a bit uninspiring at first, but after you give it sometime, it will slowly dawn on you how good and original of a launch title it is.

I figured that you start with building a container:

OXXXXO
OOOOO
then, I thought that you could wait for a
XX
XX
and then quickly put
OO
XX
on top - but the timing/luck involved seems too extreme! Must be a simpler way?

a good amount of luck involved, but it takes a while before the line comes back to wipe the blocks out. you can also do:
OOOO
OXXO
OXXO
OOOO
after the x's disappear, you have a few seconds before the lines come back to wipe the Os away. you should have enough time to build up the remaining Os

I'm seriously considering this title for my second game... are all the menus and navigation in english? Can someone paint a clearer picture for me please? Thanks!

The main menus are in English, there is a spattering of Japanese but nothing that would stop you playing the game. This is a fantastic title, very addictive - seems so simple on the surface but after a while you find yourself playing complex strategies.
