Electronic Arts has announced EA Replay, a PSP collection of 14 older EA titles that will be released on November 15. Here is the list of games that will be in the collection, including a few that might interest long time PC gamers:
B.O.B.
Budokan
Desert Strike
Jungle Strike
Haunting Starring Polterguy
Mutant League Football
Road Rash
Road Rash II
Road Rash III
Syndicate
Ultima: The Black Gate
Virtual Pinball
Wing Commander
Wing Commander: Secret Missions
Wing Commander? Wow... I forgot all about that game. I played that for a bit back in the day (PC).
I just dont know if I really want to blow the dust off these games. I remember them as being a ton of fun. I'm worried that the replay may change my opinion of them.
Developers should concentrate more on games like VCS.
I disagree. I love the old classics collections as an old guy that grew up in arcades of the 80's and early 90's and with the Atari/Colecovision/Commodore 64. These oldies are great on portables. Don't get me wrong, the GTA games are great also, but this is a great way to be able to play those games you loved from long ago.
I'm guessing it is very easy to make these games happen on the PSP. So for cost of development and all, it's pretty much free cash for EA.
I mean they arent saying "Dont work on this new awesome game so we can put the old ones on UMD". So personally I dont care if they make them or not, but I do want more good games.
