Sony is releasing a pink PSP in connection with pop superstar P!nk. The limited edition bundle contains a pink PSP, white headphones with remote, pouch, wrist strap, 32MB Memory Stick and exclusive P!nk downloads from YourPSP.com. The bundle will only be available in Europe at a price of 229EUR/169GBP.

US also has locationfree for a long time while we had to walk arround with a useles function (not useless by choice)
(but the eu version is slightly better now that it's here)
Maybe it's more easy to release europian psp's cause they have the same video region (2) as japanese psp's

In the US, we don't even use that "Location-Free" Player here in the states. That thing is garbage. Oh, finally y'all got it now, that's good! So, when are we gonna get our White PSP?
Europeans have also benifited to different colors with the PS2's also. Have we? No. Why? I dunno.

So what you're saying is, if Sony didn't make the PSP, or if Sony wasn't here altogether, I wouldn't have a PSP and I i should feel grateful for it in the 1st place?
That doesn't make any sense. This is a product that I like, and I want it to be in a different color. You see Nintendo? Their products have different colors. Why can't the PSP?

What? You're making it sound like Sony is the "Gaming-God" because they came out with this product. Big deal. Sony did exceed people's expectations of a portable gaming system but please, anybody could've came out with something similar to this now or in the future.edited: Aug 24 2006

Ya..ya..ya...but could anybody have come out with a PINK PsP?!?! I don't THINK so..it takes a company like Sony to perceive the need for a product that nobody wants. Only Sony has the vision to overprice the Ps3. If it weren't for Sony.. well.. uh.. all your bases belong to us.

how is the ps3 over price if it is costing sony 200 dollars for ever one they make. and if you add up everthing in it. the ps3 would cost over 3000 dollars. and who doesnt want a psp( its one or the fastest selling system)? it is right behide the ds and it only been out for a year and 5 months now. when the ds been out for almost 3 years.

Ok..first of all..it was a joke. 2nd.. the ps3 is overpriced. I realize that Sony is losing money on it..but that doesn't make it more reasonable as far as pricing goes. Sony is losing money on it because they are competing with Microsoft to hold market share. To do that..they have to offer something better. In this case..they are convinced graphics and blue-ray are their golden ticket. The consumer ultimately decides who wins..but given thier main consumers are teenagers and young adults, pricing thier console so high might be suicide. I frankly don't care if the cost of everything in the Ps3 is over $3000..if it sucks.. I won't buy it. Would you buy a 65" black and white plasma tv? I gaurantee it'd cost alot to make..but almost nobody would want it.Even if Sony offered it for $500 less than it cost them to make. Sony is out of touch with the reality that alot of it's buyers make minimum wage..and those that don't have limited disposable income.
Shrug.. I love my Psp..and if the Ps3 turns out to be as great as everyone HOPES then I'll probably buy one of those too..even though it is overpriced.

Well this PINK color i won't use playing first of all. But I heard about 95% of PSP owners are Males and Sony wants more female owner. So I think this is a great idea to put in the market for girls to play. My girlfriend doesn't like psp casue its big ang black. LOL. so if she sees a pink she will probablyt think twice about it. she perfered IPOD over PSP.

whats wrong with a little bigger and blacker. lol. what i dont understand is that if the psp is black in the states why dont they give us black headphones and black remotes to match. the white stuff sticks out like a sore thumb.

my litle sis will freak out if she saw this pink PSP, she just bought the" big, black" PSP like 2 weeks ago, and who would want to buy that when the black one looks alot nicer? its meant for girls obviously, but they can buy the white one, anyway if its out in europe its bound to come out here, same region, and we have the white, it dsnt look nice anyway...
