2600mAh battery pack. This battery pack is cheaper and lasts longer than the standard 1800mAh or improved 2200mAh Sony batteries. Some users have reported up to 12 hours of game play time. It should last 44% longer than the 1800mAh battery, or 18% longer than the 2200mAh battery.

yeah keep editing your posts so my posts are completly into the air...
May I remind you I pointed the battery out to you? (but you probably edited that as well by now..) so you don't need to spell anything out for me you twat, I just don't think you should put people on the wrong track.
since you edit every post i respond to, I'm not giong to respond anymore... coward...

i just bought one of those $20 2600mAh batteries and a Hori screen protector... thanks for the link! $33 shipped and the Sony 2200mAh alone is $40. nice." edited: Aug 21 2006

yes i know you pointed them out (thanks again!), and i'm only trying to edit things so it's not confusing. i wasn't trying to make you look bad.
please stop insulting me... i never meant to insult you... when i said "it's all spelled out" (i won't edit because you'd get mad) i just meant "i clarified". i didn't mean it to sound sarcastic or mean.
sorry...
PS on another forum i used to be on it was customary to edit posts that were found unclear/offensive. i realize now that's not the standard here, so i'll stop. sorry again edited: Aug 21 2006

editing is one thing, but if there's a discussion on a particular post it's kinda odd to edit that one (or completly remove it) don't you think?
and you didn't said "it's all spelled out" but "it's all spelled out for you", that's something different..
can't blame me for taking that personal...
sorry about the insults

oh yeah i didn't mean it that way... i shouldn't have said "for you" since i meant "you" as in "everyone reading this", but of course it didn't sound that way at all. my bad. moving on...
i got about 4 hours of Tekken out of this battery (instead of about 2.5 from the original battery). the battery lasts longer than i can!edited: Aug 21 2006

Actually you dont need a battery. just plug the charger in - without the battery, i normally do this!
i reccommend this, but if there is a power cut where you are....................... you can guess!!

Hey guys! I just bought this battery, and can't wait to get this sucker going ^^
But how low shall I let it charge the first time?
- I would like somebody, which KNOWS how long, and also have the battery lasting for 6-12 (what the ad said), to tell me this...
I hope you guys will answer this as fast as possible, because I'm really looking forward to some nice long hours of playing...
About the whole cord and adapter thing... You know; plugging it in without using the battery: There a whole other kind of freedom to it using the battery and not having to drag the adapter along and stuff like that!
Need to go to the bathroom? Just take it with you ^^ Nice weather? Go outside... You can't do that when its plugged up...
Just my opiniuon...

As a general rule, 24 hours, is the standard now days for charging a new Lithium Ion battery. After that.. it doesn't really matter..because they don't have a memory..but if you don't charge them fully the FIRST time, you shorten the life of the battery from then on. Peace.

Ahh okay, thanks...
I plugged it in about 2 hours ago, and after one hour the little orange light just wen't out (as in normally; the PSP would be charged), but normally it takes (about) 2 hours for the light to stop glowing... I shouldn't mind, right? And just let it keep adapting?
I guess I can feel the adapter in a couple of hours to see if its "adapting hot", and then tell if its still charging...
But thanks :Dedited: Jun 08 2007

Like I said.. 24 hours the first time..after that it doesn't matter. You're probably safe already, but you seemed pretty admant about not screwing it up.

i wonder how long music will last
especially the multiplayer
