Pilot Academy PSP will let you fulfil your dreams of being a pilot. While it will deliver the high standards of realism and authentic feeling of flight that Pilot Academy 2 (PS2) was based around, it will focus much more heavily on wish-fulfilment and immediate reward. The game's levels will allow you to explore every aspect of being a pilot, from battling the Red Baron in a WWI bi-plane to landing a 747 in a snowstorm, crop-dusting and even fire-fighting. While the aircraft included are real-world and the missions you are given are realistic, this is not a simulation. This is a game in which you get to do all the fun parts of flying in all the coolest planes with none of the dullness.
Features
Twenty different highly detailed aircraft to fly (civilian and military)
Aerial combat from WWI to modern day including bi-planes, spitfires, MIG's and the F16
Large environments including the Pacific Islands, Cities, African Wildlife Reserves and Alpine Forests
A range of flying experiences including barn-storming, crop-spraying, aerobatic displays and dogfighting
Multiplayer modes allowing for aerial battles and co-op against AI enemies
I fly planes for a living... for the past 23 years.
I can tell you... there is a LOT of dullness!
Try flying on autopilot for 10 - 14 hours across the Pacific... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
I forgot to add... I have my PSP with me on EVERY flight!
Some times I'm able to get paired up with another pilot that has a PSP and we go at it with SOCOM:FTB!
I wanna be on your flight, so I can frag you from the cheap seats in back! Can you imagine firing up FTB and finding yourself fighting the pilots of your plane?! LOL!
man this game looks cool, too bad they forgot to add the 777, or A380, maybe theyre new, but not too new for the game, the concorde wouldve been a nice touch too...n i dont think theres much to do on a plane, so even if hes playing the passengers are safe...
ilian123... I'm 46.
Chance... BRING IT ON! Ha... I'm not that good at SOCOM:FTB. We are just having a little fun.
rem3... Actually, there is no trouble. A lot of the rules about mobile phones, WiFi, and the such, are very out-dated and have nothing to do about effecting navigation or the instruments or the flight computers. If the airplane's computers and instruments were that easily effected by WiFi, there would be a lot more problems from the airplane's internal electrical fields.
I think that I will wait for the Ace Combat game instead. This game looks like it has gameplay from Pilotwings. Not a bad game, but very kid orientated. I might get it used later and I have my Ace Combat. I love that friggin game.
