Sure there's not a ton of bass but overall the speakers do a fine job and they deliver huge sound. I tried it out with Spiderman 2 (UMD), Terminator 2 (UMD), Lumines (game) and some Mushroomhead music vids I have on my memory stick. All sounded really good. Spiderman 2 sounded the best and I was able to hear all sorts of detail. These are NOT portable. They come with a nice case but to give you an idea--> if you see these in the store, the case is the same size as the actual box. It's not bad but don't expect to put these in your pocket. It's still great for trips and another cool thing is that you can plug other devices into it. I also tried it with my XM MyFi and it sounded good. If you're looking for some good speakers to help enhance your games and movies, look no further.
