any ideas when this would hit the uk????

Has anyone heard the bass on it? If I'm buying speakers, the bass is more important to me.
How does it compare to the Nyko Theatre Experience?
Does it connect to devices other than PSP?

I didn't think these were available yet, but as it turns out Circuit City had some. I picked one up this morning and I've been trying it out. The sound is much better than I would have thought they could be for $59 bucks. I'm an audiophile and I honestly had planned on getting these home, trying them out, and then bringing them back.
I have some other speakers I bought for my hard drive music player and those cost more and sound far worse. I've seen some people wondering about the bass and I think it sounds fine. If I want perfect sound I'll put on my headphones. For what my headphones cost I could get four of these. When I want to watch a movie at work, these will be awesome. Plus I'll hear the telephone ring or someone knocking on my door.
I like that there are two audio cables so you can use the long one when gaming and holding the PSP in your hands. The case is useful. It's clean and neat and makes carrying the somewhat cumbersome number of pieces a non-issue. It could use a handle, though.
The other device I was thinking of getting is the NYKO Theater Experience. I'm as worried about how that will sound as I was about the Playgear Amp. I like the fact that the NYKO is a case and a charger as well. When that comes out (assuming it will get here soon) I will pick it up and return whichever of the two devices I find lacking more than the other.

Oh man! How loud did you have it Oscar? That's bad. You might want to consider getting one of these Playgear Amps when your new PSP shows up. Maybe look at using the headphoones, too. :-)
I never have mine up too loud, and I use the AVLS a lot. I didn't know the PSP speakers were fragile at all, but who knows?

59.99 in most stores. I hate MSRP as most retailers do not carry it at that price.
