Release Date: October 31 2006
Shinobi is back in another adventure, but this time he's making his way to the PSP. Thanks to Spike and Acquire, Shinobi is scheduled to be released in Japan this October. Based on the PS2 version, Shinobi's single player campaign will feature 30 playable characters, while there will also be a 4 player Versus multiplayer with 20 playable skins. The Mission Play Mode will even allow you to connect the PSP to the PS2 and import missions made through the game editor. These graphics look alright considering it's the first batch, and the innovative game modes certainly look appealing.

kinda reminded me of tenchu at first.... looks kinda wierd.....

This is Tenchu... right? Acquire makes Tenchu... and this game looks just like it. And doesn't Sega own the Shinobi name?

link
doesn't look great...
+
Shinobido Homura is the correct name in Japanese. That was really bothering me... it's not exactly "Shinobi".
+
ummm. this IS NOT "Shinobi" its a terrible looking version of "Tenchu" for PSP.....we could only WISH for a decent version of Shinobi....
+
Its TENCHU with a new name.
+
God you're all wrong.
It's not Tenchu even though it's from the creators of the original Tenchu series. Please check out Shinobido Imashime for the PS2. That's what this game will be like.
+
yeah its not Shinobi, its Shinbido (way of the ninja) published by the people who published the way of the samurai games (makes sense right?) I have Shinbido Imashime for ps2, pretty fun game, i havent really tried the level editor, but the missions in the game are pretty fun, and the animations for killing guards is great

those graphics are aweful, they are pathetic, look at games like Lego Starwars, Socom, Burnout, Syphon filter, those graphics are really bad! If it is shinobi, it should have some cool animations though....
