Plays music from your PSP through your FM radio at home or in the car. Great for watching movies too! Powered by the PSP system. Full channels from 88.1 to 107.9.
Am i the only one who thinks this product is useless???
seriously think about it...
it only works if you have a car stereo or home stereo buy it i guess
you might have noticed that the PSP has low volume through the speakers (expecially in noisy places)
car stereos and home stereos are way louder
all i am saying is if you have a home stereo or car stereo or something... don't you think it would make way way way more sence to just use that louder, clearer, more free, radio.... i mean seriously, i feel like i am taking crazy pills lol. (and it is made by pelican)

alright... i would say here are the things wrong with pelican...
they are very cheap (not cheap like price... cheap like manufacturing crappy)
their quality is the worst you can get..
and the products break somwhere between 2 -14 days after getting it... always.

GTA, I don't think you get it, it plays sound FROM the PSP THROUGH the speakers. So if you're driving you can listen to music on the PSP through the car speakers. Kinda like iTrip.
I have purchased this item in Australia, though it was labelled as PowerWave.
This transmitter is fantastic as it is both small and self powered.
I also purchased the same brand windscreen carmount and it works out perfectly as the PowerWave car mount only has a single clip on the bottom, right in the middle and this item fits exactly into the spot next to bottom clip... I have to say that the windscreen carmount is fantastic as well, I have it mounted with PSP and modulator 10-12 hours a day and have never had a problem.
As a truck driver this means that I can just leave it all connected to windscreen and when I have to wait at depot, just turn on PSP, change radio to preset frequency and I am set.. also I use PSP as a music player with this connected playing through FM preset of my choice as some docks are underground and I get no reception, so this means I don't have to use headphones or built in speakers.
I have had many people come up to my truck to find out what the noise is as it sounds like a small home theatre when I have this on watching a movie.
I also have the Griffin iTrip, and while it does have superior transmitting it is also impossible to mount PSP into carmount with iTrip connected.
This is what made me get this item and this together with car mount is the perfect car/truck solution for me.
Zedex, thank you for the good information instead of the useless other "peclican products suck" posts. Would you mind posting a review ? For $30, I think Im going to give this a try. I dont have an IPOD and I pretty much dislike 90% of all PSP games so this may be a saving grace for my psp future to increase the effectiveness to utilize it as a portable mp3 player/ movie player..
