Im a RUSH Fan So i might get this But... LOOK AT THOSE GRAPHICS! *pukes* Ahh little Kid Graphics *Dies from anxiety attack*

you know this could be a good game if they really upped the graphics. (they have like 5 months left to make them better). ughh...
+
Rush hasn't been good sense the CLASSIC arcade games.

I like whole shortcut and car stunt thing, but I don't think I can handle the graphics. I think my dog has spit up prettier cars than that (along with a blue metal dog tag, but we never did find the actual animal...)edited: Jun 05 2006

The game is still in development. Lets wait to see how it turns out before making any critical judgements. This could very well be a decent game, but to beat Burnout or Wipeout would be an extreme
+
if u have burnout legends u don't need to buy another racing game

I loved SF rush2 on N64...it was a blast. If they up the grafix, I would but it. But only time will tell.
+
a ps1 could do beter than that. hell a PONG MACHINE could handle better graphics! s h i t !

you would "BUY" it not but it.

Tough crowd! Just from preview screen shots the majority are moaning about jagged pixels, flat lighting, etc. I agree with Motoi... it's still in development and we should not pass final judgement... yet. But once it hits the streets, all assumtions are off!

Ear canal does not lead into brain.

I just bought this game yesterday, and (as most of the existing comments here are from pre-release) I thought it might be helpful to clear-up some details about this game... 1) If you liked Midnight Club, you'll love this game; it is 100% free-roaming, set in LA. 2) Graphics, in comparison to MC, are mixed: some things are actually more detailed; others seem to be shaded to obscure details. 3) This is NOT a game based upon the original RUSH arcade games (where or not those are unlockable as a hidden bonus, I don't know yet). This game is "RUSH" in name only, although for me that's not really a bad thing.
To elaborate on some of the above, note that this is very much like Midnight Club-PSP-Version 2: load times are significantly less, but the racing and environment have much of the same feel. There is a little less intensity to the enemy AI, but I am still playing on the 'easy' level. There is a long intial CG cut-scene, but after that it also is reminiscent of GTA:LCS, in that at times you have to go 'steal back' a car taken from you, and there is a short in-game-engine script that runs, and you are immediately thrown into action (having to escape). Police cars are much more agressive than in MC, but not so much that they are annoying. There is also even more traffic on road, which drive quite realistically. And, lastly, speed is quite extreme (even though I'm still running with the intial batch of SUV's, etc.). Although I still like the 'balance' of speed in MC, for those who thought that that game was 'slow', they shouldn't be thinking that here.
All in all, time will tell how it lasts, but this is right up there with Midnight Club; it is the 'extension' to that game that I've been waiting for Rockstar (or someone) to make, and am very happy. It certainly smokes the hopelessly-lame Need For Speed Most Wanted. And, although I used to own Burnout and that game was neat in its own right, it is an entirely different type of game, being that the goal is to smash other vehicles. If you like pure street racing, but don't like the "endless closed-circuit laps" of games like NFS, etc.: then run, don't walk to buy this one!
