Set to be released around the same time as the PS2's upcoming SOCOM: Combined Assault, this next iteration of the SOCOM series on the PSP will have an interweaving storyline with that of its PS2 cousin.
I'm excited about this too, but right now I'm more excited about capt.'s changes to the way picts work! Click on a pic and it opens a screensized PICTURE! WOOT! Now I can actually SEE what things are going to look like LIFESIZE!
Sorry to spoil the mood, but that damn auto-aims back again... Whatever the changes they make to it, it'll always decrease any skill or cover in online play. Couldn't they have used a syphon filter type control-system?
doesnt the lock on system in the first one have accuracy based off of position(prone,standing...) and movement? if so, there would be some skill in multiplayer and i could see how that would make for nice handheld fun.
also brettday, the graphics do look pretty improved over the last one unless my eyes deceive me.
I was hoping that the graphics would be a little bit more polished! anywho, I'll buy this game for sure, the first one was sweet. I hope there are more guns to chose from though. I will have to watch the video.. This is a must have I think!

i would rather have lock on than looking with the buttons, that just sucks balls like coded arms
Locking on doesn't gaurantee a kill. It depends on stance, movement, etc. Its alot like firing a real automatic weapon as far as being accurate is concerned. If your standing and moving..don't expect to hit much. If you're lying down..you have ALOT better chance.
