Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops breaks from the ACiD card gameplay by featuring the tried and true Metal Gear action formula. Taking place between MGS3: Snake Eater and the first Metal Gear Solid, you will play as Big Boss and can recruit other comrades such as Sigint, Major Zero, Paramedic and others. LAN connectivity will also be featured.

Actually I heard that yes the metal gear solid 2 will play a big part in this game. As there will be scenes from metal gear solid 2 . The times you played with raiden in metal gear solid 2. here you will play with snake and see events you've missed while playing with raiden if that makes sence.

MGS3 took place before MGS1. This would be in Solid Snake's earlier years (perhaps first missions), before the Outer Heaven uprising.

lol what an idiot...its card based...there are no cards in pokemon. Why it is childish to use cards? The gameplay of pokemon is about little creatures for kids...guys shooting other guys with rocker launchers, flame throwers, machine guns is not childish. The game takes alot of skill and knowledge...People who are too stupid to play the game will refer MGA to a pokemon type game.
Im all for MGS but MGA was awesome.

What took them so long to finally have the right play mode!. Now I'm interested in Metal Gear for PSP.

Sorry, but WRONG! This game will show the death of Big Boss. (Which later is cloned into what we know as Solid Snake, and 2 other Snakes.) I'm not trying to be rude....Just had to set that straight.

I think they couldn't be able to create an original MGS game at such an early stage. The more time that passes by, they better the graphics will be, even though the system hasn't changed

Cant wait...but Im not to sure about it for 1 reason only...and thats that it has portalable in the name of the game...ussually games like that are down sized game play wise, but Im happy enough with the graphics :]
