It has a built-in Class D digital amplifier, which ensures a clean powerful sound without suffering short battery life. Four fresh AAA batteries will provide you as long as 24 hours of continuous play.
There are also easy-to-use touch controls – increase and decrease volume just with a touch. Your volume settings can even be saved even after systems are shut down. A full, rich frequency response is ensured by the two aluminum-domed Odyssey transducers powered by neodymium magnets.
Not only will this JBL speaker provide your PSP with good sounds, it can protect it as well. A zippered, ballistic nylon carry case holds the JBL On Tour Plus, AC adapter, and the game console.
Measuring 175 x 88 x 35mm and weighing 350g, this PSP speaker's black, sleek finish will match perfectly with the PSP. It is also compatible with MP3 and CD players plus desktop and laptop computers.

they need to make an amplifier that has a built in rechargeable battery so we dont have to waste a bunch of AAA batteries...thats probably the reason i wont buy this because when i really want to listen to it...the batteries will be dead.

the ipod version of these sound really good, but i'm waiting for either a PSP altec lansing speaker thing (you know, the one that looks like a tube), a klipsch igroove thingy or a bose sounddock. it wwould also be nice if someone made speakers that had a PSP crade and an ipod crade, with a remote.
