D&D: Tactics offers an original, intriguing Dungeons & Dragons storyline. Players take on the role of a mortal child caught in a conflict of two competing dragons striving for godhood. Alignment is critical, as it affects the end of the story and allows players to change from good to evil, or the other way around, depending on which quests they choose. Gamers will play through a series of adventures, completing various objectives along the way. D&D: Tactics offers all the Dungeons & Dragons base character classes including Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer and Wizard. Five Prestige Classes are available, as are two Psionic classes, the Psion and the Psychic Warrior. Players will be able to customize their characters and store as many as their memory stick can handle.
D&D: Tactics will take full advantage of the PSP system's wireless capability and offer gamers a multiplayer mode. The co-operative mode allows a group of gamers to play the single-player campaign with their friends as a team. In Deathmatch mode a series of special arenas, such as the randomly- generated and populated Dungeon Bash, allows players to fight one another with their saved parties. D&D Tactics also features the ability to utilize downloadable content helping extend the play in the form of new dungeon maps.

Did anyone see that Reno 911 episode where the busted the D&D game?? The guy said to the cops "I am a level 12 Wizard with a ring of invisibility, you cannot see me, I can cast ray of enfeablement..", haha then they sprayed him with mace. Too funny.
back to topic, D&D is cool on video games, but yes, there are some lunatics from the paper game... However, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings both have those types of people and they are both great movies....(notice I didnt include star trek :P)

Like I give a damn if some forum teenager thinks I'm a "geek" or not... Or what "level" owning a D&D game on the PSP elevates me to. I played D&D on paper in the 80's when I was in school and later, too. So? I've probably been laid more in the past couple of months than any three or four average users, here. Not that getting laid means anything, necessarily, either.
Notice only the insecure teens really seem to care about whether something carries a 'geek' label. Us grown-ups are usually secure enough in our self-image to not care. If someone is immature enough to make some kind of issue with the subject matter of the PSP game you're playing, that's their problem. And if those thinking this is 'too nerdy' are adults, themselves, then that's even more pathetic.

Well Pixelator, as a 29 year old adult myself, I tend to agree with you, in theory anyway. However, the reality is that all people, adults and children alike, categorize things. Its part of what makes us superior species. The ability to categorize things is a double edged sword and so, just like in school, you will have judgemental people label D&D, or Video Games, or Star Trek, or whatever THEY feel isn't cool, as nerdy. Where is the line for you? What do you consider "nerdy" or better yet, "jocky"? I'm sure you have a line somewhere although its probably in a differnt place like mine is. I know I do. There is a mega religous crowd out there that judges constantly yet then quotes scripture that says "judge not less ye be judged..".. human nature. And I totally expect people to label me when Im either playing my PSP in public or where my WEEN t-shirt or whatever...its just you gotta not care and just do your thing... Ok thus ends my rant... we're on the same page Im sure...edited: May 12 2006
