Metal Slug Collection is a collection of 6 side-scrolling intense action shooting games from the popular series. Included are Metal Slug, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug 4 and Metal Slug 5.
The games will be perfect translations of the arcade classics and feature Wireless support for intense two-player action.

Metal Slug X is like part 1,2, or 3... I forget, its been a while.. only its got some new features and other stuff.

Arghh I hope it gets a helping of more than just Ad-Hoc. I mean honestly, wouldn't it be cool to bring back the old arcade fun back to your wifi-equipped home and just get a round of shooting before bed? Heck yes.

To put it simply, MSX is a remixed version of Metal Slug 2, and not a "true" sequel.
SNK moved a few things around, made the stages look a little different, added some new weapons, and generally tightened up the gameplay a little bit. It certainly seems a little more challenging in certain areas of the game that were a breeze to get through in MS2. You'll probably need to be a hardcore fan to notice some of the aspects that have changed, but there are a few things that most people will see right away. Also noted is the massive slowdown problem in MS2 was fixed as well.

If space and their bosses allow, the development team should throw in Metal Slug 1st Mission and 2nd Mission as secrects (two top tier Neo Geo Pocket Color Metal Slug games. Played more like an action/adventure game with spins on the left-to-right Metal Slug formula. Amazing stuff and it was and still is better than Metal Slug Advance.).
