Radio Shack sells these for like $20. $20! for 2 pieces of plastic! They dont CONTAIN electronics..they just snap on to your existing headphones.. Good god people are greedy!
Ps..after a little research..I figured out that 3G and 4G refer to the generation of IPOD headphones you're using. I doubt they'll work with the PsP headphones..which are teardrop shaped, not round like the IPood ones.edited: Mar 23 2006

But you have to think, iPod headphone are round, where as the stock PSP headphones are not, these don't look like they will fit at all. Those aren't even PSP headphones in the picture. I'd say you'd end up wastin $20 bucks instead of saving it. How can $20 worth of plastic really change the volume and bass of my headphones? I must say if you haven't figured it out by now I'm quite skeptic.

If you really want to use these, just grab your mother's nail file (As I did) and file down the 'teardrop' side of the PSP's headpohnes and snap these on. It amazes me how many guys on here actually use the Shure earphones to play games! I'm a musician, and those are even too much for what I do!
If you want to rock your stocks, as I do. THIS is the solution!

these things are awesome ...sadly it is only for the ipod (which i have).... these things do wonders for the stock ipod earphones..the bass is tremendous with these things...but its sad how they also degrade the higher frequencies thus resulting in a kinda washed out sound..
however, they do block a fair amount of outside noise ...so its all good ... its only 15 bucks in a local radioshack...while your in there get some sony earphones that are round to fit these bad boys.

i bought these last year for 15 bux from audio outfitters .. they work really well but then again i only use em @ home on my pc .. they're comfortable but the rubber ear piece tends to fall out easily with wear .. the koss 'earplugs' are nicer .. just replace the foam ear piece with a three flanged rubber ear piece & it will function beautifully ..
i bought the er-6i earbuds for 99 bux on sale for my ipod & they're awesome
