Go golf crazy and take on a cast of colourful characters in the coolest clubhouse around. No need for airs and graces here - just select a golfer from a range of friendly faces, and customize their abilities, attributes and appearance before teeing off across a series of challenging courses and game modes. Go head-to-head with both friends and foes via WiFi compatible Ad Hoc Mode and become a true golfing legend.
I found it at a pawn shop for $30 CDN and traded it in at Blockbuster for $30 CDN - boy was I relieved. It is undeniably cute, but way too easy. It is pretty much a game for small kids IMO.
Actually, they didn't Westernize the characters at all for this version of MinGolf. All the characters are pretty much identical to the Japanese version, except for some name changes and speech. Oddly enough, they gave the US version more realistic textures for the courses (although the Japanese version has a barely noticable smoother framerate). I don't mind the fact that this version has less courses and characters than the PS2 versions, but no online play? Boo hiss!
the BEST game currently out for the psp in my opinion, no game has spent longer in my psp - the graphics are bright and colourful, controls are intuative, great sense of fun, and many unlockables to create a character truely your own... perfect game, not a complaint about it.
I'm surpised. I rented this game because I saw nothing else for rent on the psp. My starting thought was "eh, golf", but I ended up keeping the game for an extra week because I was so addicted. It's all about collecting items, but the golfing is so simple and fun. It'll be a must buy when it comes down in price. ^^
What can i say, buy it!
Hours and hours of fun gaming
I played it to about 50% then by mistake deleted the game save, but to be honest it did not piss me off its so much fun to play.
