Hell, for $300 don't get earbuds for playing on psp. Now if you're doing sound work, get something like this.

Very tru Digi...but even as a musician I'd get beyer-dynamic for the same price and better acoustic response.

agent, I mainly meant field recording.. being a musician and sound designer, I would love to have a pair of headphones that blocked out 90% of what the outside world was throwing at me so that I could only hear what is being recorded.

sorry guys...I tried to copy+paste link and then show my review but it got lost....so...this is about 189...seems like a fortune...but if you use phones for anything other than psp its actually very worth it...2 year warranty...unheard of for in ear buds..... and they have 12 replacealbe tips + sound comparable to 600$ headphones...think I'm BS...I listened to 4 pairs of buds/phones worth over 2000$ minutes before I tried these w/ my I-river...and that has 320Kbps sound for true quality...But was really blown away when I these puppies w/ PSP....MAJor difference...and that's because you can walk around uncrowded areas playing oblivious to everything else...sounds crazy... I did it for LOTR tactics....what a rush...wouldn't do it for action titles but for everything else these are amazing. If you use em w/ mp3/ movies/ or just for your Games they're absolutely unbeatable for sound isolation...quality of sound is similar to $99 Er-6 but SOUND ISOLATION is what makes these in a class by themselves...

PUT it this way the next step up from these require professional ear molds to be made of your ear before they make the earpiece...and that costs 1 hour of your time + $550 !

overall I'd give these an 91 out of 100...nothing short of amazing

I submitted a "New Product" post for a tiny portable amp I like to use with these and it vanished too. Must just be a fluke now and then.

I have tried a LOT of different headphones and my ER-4s phones are some of the world's best. When it comes to isolating phones they are the tops for this price. They impress me the most when I use them on a plane. With normal ear buds you have to keep the volume up well past safe levels, but with these you can keep it well down and comfortable.

I only have one pair of headphones that I like more. Those cost twice as much, are full sized, and don't isolate so I only use them at home where it's quiet.

And what is the deal with some people saying "just get another PSP"? What does that really have to do with anything?

nice to see some owners speak up....err...type up

anyway the quality of the buds is much higher than other isolating buds and you really do improve your hearing...check'em out at a store if you can... the default quality MP3 player/ I'd recommend is either an i-River or Cowon high end. Makes PSP audio sound flat and loud.

Worth the time/$ if you travel while playing PSP or just like high qulaity sound in your pocket...something that BOSE /Koss haven't achieved yet. Makes Sony PSP seamless w/ your soundspace ===truly unique experience for a truly worthwhile handheld.

I know this will sound dumb but why would I rather buy these pair of headphones rather than the $10 ones at walmart.
