Its a well executed design that serves both purposes well. When not in use as an upright anti glare screen, the sides fold to transform it into the perfect screen protector. The back of the cover resembles the Umd back-plate. It makes a 3 sided box that comes strait up 6 inches from the bottom of the screen. Usefull to see in a bright light setting (or to hide something you shouldn't be watching) but cumbersom for general indoor use.
