This game shield serves as both a screen protector and anti glare screen. Its a well executed design that serves both purposes well. When not in use as an upright anti glare screen, the sides fold to transform it into the perfect screen protector. The unit attaches securely to the top of the PSP using two screws.

i wouldn't trust anything that relies soley on the screw holes for mounting; it won't hold.

I have it and its not that good, its made out of really cheap plastic and it scratches your screen. The only good thing is it does block the glare quite a bit.

I have it as well. It really is usefull for use in a car or outdoors. it comes off easily when you aren't using it.

Uh..NO..Nope..no way ...no..NO!

looks like an inconvenience to me. A psp case could easily be modified to stay in an up position and could do the same thing. Heck, I could do it with a stick.

It isn't in the up position. The back of the cover resembles the Umd back-plate. It makes a 3 sided box that comes strait up 6 inches from the bottom of the screen. Usefull to see in a bright light setting (or to hide something you shouldn't be watching) but cumbersom for general indoor use. I am a passenger in a work van a lot so it is useful to me, but for most users the cover that swivels around to the back abd has the rubberized bulges would be better.
