This game isn't that bad, I have played it many times. There are tons of modes where you can pick like vampire, hunter, savior, savior 2 and each modes lets you do strange different special moves like in vampire and hunter you can do differnt super moves and the way you fight seems different, also included is turbo and auto turbo block etc. Savior mode gives you abilities to go into hyper drive mode another way of doing super moves. At the end of beating each character is a nice comic strip ending and also you can read over em in the bonus menu and there are tons of em. Not to mention the tower mode you can play over and over again and if you climb high enough you unlock cool arts that you can zoom in and look at. The content is really nice so the game isn't bad at all its really pretty good 2d game.

Still you gotta admit, its nice to play this game on a psp where you can fight against random people on wi fi, doesn't hurt for competition!

I knew nothing about the background of this game. I bought it because I really like Tekken/Street Fighter and this was the closest game of that kind. The graphics are awesome, and the action is fast. It's not a bad game, but I may trade it in and and get something else. For the most part, though, it's a good game.

gundam battle assault 2 is awesome, loads of unlockable chars, if this is anything near the amount of time i spent playing that game, im buyin it, but seeing as it is a street fighterish game, i probably wont jo find ich :-)

I read lots of complaints about control issues with this game. It could be a trend for fighting games on the PSP, but I came up with a quick solution. Just get 2-sided sticky tape and carefully tape over the d-pad surfaces, then apply a round flat surface (I used a nice polished 3/8" washer). It does not harm your PSP, and the controls are fixed just like a console. I found all games control better this way, as you get a good "fireball" motion from it. It sounds like a really ghetto-fix, but it actually looks really cool and clean. Just wait til Tekken comes out!

I thought of not buying a PSP, because I knew people who buy Sony are not real gamers - this game's amazing, and everyone's complaing about 3D and stuff - that discussions has nothing to do with it. This is very, very cool. About the script issues - just google the net, there are sites dedicated only to Darkstalkers, this is a real cult title, and I hope Sony and 3rd parties keep bring this type of games (along with some RPGs, please) along. Plug a PS2 and play GTA forever, all of you 3D... .
