Stacked is a Texas Hold 'em Poker game designed with participation from poker's most dynamic and successful professionals. The game features a comprehensive poker school in which the player can receive tips and strategies from Daniel Negreanu (multiple Poker award winner and all-time World Poker Tour money winner). As players progress through the game's career mode, they can apply Daniel's teachings to overcome some of poker's most renowned stars, including Josh Arieh, Jennifer Harman, Erick Lindgren, Carlos Mortenson, Evelyn Ng and David Williams. The Poki Artificial Intelligence system adapts its tactics in real-time to exploit the user's playing style, detecting tendencies and deploying appropriate counter-strategies. Players can also organize online games with friends or engage in multi-table tournaments.

this is a peculiar but understandable gaming choice, poker (expecially texas hold'em) is fastly growing in popularity among adults (my ste-dadp has gone crazy over it, he plays 'poker-stars' online for like 4 hours a day, he rakes in some good cash though, 500 dollars total last month). I've played texas hold'em many times before, but it is extremely unentertaining unless money is involved. you won't think as much about your choices until you have about 20 or so dollars sitting on the results of the game.
i expect this game to FLOP tremendously

yea, texas hold-em is the current fad in my community
they may as well milk it

Only for the poker players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEH HAWWWWWWWWWWW

i love this game and im not an adult yet.

this game is my most wanted game. i can't wait to improve my poker skills. with networking, i can see this game really taking off. no more need for chips and cards.
+
All my friends and I are waiting for this game. This game is #1 on our lists. Poker has become more than a fad as it has been strong for 2 years now and continues to grow. The online community is just nutz (trust me I play with thousands online a month). This game will sell well. The AI seems to the key to this game. There are ton of poker simulators out there and it is really hard to nail a good AI for Texas Hold em.

the psp is bigger than a stack of cards

From what I've read, the POKI AI is the best Hold'em AI ever made, so granted it doesn't appear that you can play for money -- it might at least make your game a little better, hopefully money play is just right around the corner -- Some big poker sites like Party Poker, etc. should release a client for the PSP so addicts like me can play on the couch :-)

how old are you? 7? i don't want to sound like an ass but for 4 hours a day, 7 days a week, that's 28 hours a week, * 4 weeks in a month, that's 112 hours a month. his hourly rate is about $4.50, that's LESS than MINIMUM wage. In my opinion that's quite a waste of time, even though im sure he enjoys it, that's still NO cash at all for that much time.

I just hope they will release a poker game for the psp that lets you play for real money against other people over the net.

^
That's highly unlikely.
