The Game puts you at the center of one of the world's most revered stories. Gamespot have some video and screenshots of the PS2 version of the game, so we wil hopefully get an accurate conversion for the PSP, and i must say, its looking mightily impressive.

I also think that it might be set like GTA, just several years back.
The EA website has some intro videos and such, but not anything of real gameplay. I haven't even seen any real screenshots except for some (non-gameplay) pics of the PS2 version. link

all the screenshots you see are pc and ps3 and xbox2 shottys, the lower end consoles arn't as high rez, but still good for those that are wondering how this game looks and feels like, It's a Star wars: Knights of the old republic mixed with Mafia, and one of those Risk type of games where you go around killing people but bribing cops to not arrest/kill you, collect protection money and other "gang"/Mafia related themes
Game will be a 3rd-person shooter so it's like mafia on the PC pretty good feel to it, you work your way up from a low class henchman to a DON, (star wars look, it would be like you start off as a warrior, then end up as a jedi blademaster....... hypotetically speaking)
Supposedly the release date will be in Q4 2005 december-ish
untill then you might have to satisfy your cravings with GTA for the PSP, as it might be closest thing to the same genre
Most of all Enjoy the game when you get it, laterz

i got to visit EA when they were a few months into development on this title (for ps2, presumably), and it is flipping amazing. The psp version ought to be a good port, too -- i'm betting that the size of the screen (comparitively to its resolution) should make the graphics bearable.
