This looks like a picture of the GBASP model, unless that connector is a mini usb. I don't believe it lasts 10 hours on AAA batteries. The powerbrick doesn't last that long and is essentially the same thing.

it lasts 7 hours tops on fresh out of the case batteries. life deterioates quickly between uses down to 6 hours after 25 some usesedited: Jul 28 2005

I have both the power brick and the madcatz power pack... don't be fooled! The madcatz power pack doesn't even last ten mintues with Ridge Racer, 5 min (if lucky) on movies, doesn't even last long while listening to mp3s! The power birck is good, but i think it has a max number of times it can be charged. Mine won't hold a charge anymore....
