I have been a fan of Sony for a long time. Everything that I own thats electronic is equivicolly Sony. So I was very much excited with the NEW memeber of the Sony video game system family. The PSP is nothing short of AMAZING!!! Plus....WOW......that screen is bright as ever and CLEAR!! 16,770,000 colors!! Now that BRIGHT!! In a darkened room it illuminates it! The unit is one sexy beast...and rather small and compact! The exterior is shiny so you will be tempted to clean it as your fingerprints will slowly diminish the luster. I treat my PSP like I treat my car.....keep it loking good. It compliments the PSP and you as a gamer too. Its fantastic!! The included movie...Spider-Man 2 looks flawlessly remarkable!! There are going to be alot of potential in the future for this revolution in game play. If someone was to ask me to give a flaw about the PSP I would have to say......more extras. They should've been included. Such as a compliment screen protector and/or a umd case, a cleaning cloth, and a a higher capacity memory stick. When you do buy it though I suggest you get at least 1 video game...(if you got the extra cash). My personal favorite Ridge Racer. Also get a screen protector....PLEASE!! It will get scratched easily and its very fragile. On the topic of memory....32MB is not enough for me so I bought a 256MB memory stick which costs $49.95. I highly reccommend this system. STAY AWAY FROM NINTENDO DS!!
I started off as a SEGA man, being that SEGA was from the US. But after, and I repeat after, I had put my full faith in SEGA (buying Dreamcast, Saturn, Game Gear, and yes even SEGA CD) they just died. I was always playing other people's playstations while my Dreamcast collected dust. So I switched... When the PSP came out, I was sceptical. But, on a whim, I just got it. Any doubts of Sony or its domination of gaming are all dead to me now. I got Spider-Man 2, and I am pissed (No Free Roam!) but even though I only have one game and six songs on "digital D" (my PSP) I freakin love it. If it were a chick, it would be a perfect 10.
is sony dropping the psp? an article about the ps3 said that psp support will be dropped in two years by sony. this could be good or bad, i guess. good in that the umd disc becomes open source and more games come out, cheaper, etc, movies too.... but bad in that there's no guarantee that the psp will survive the drop
