Aren't all psp's the same the only dif is what you use wi-fi , music external batteries...

I can get about 5 hours out of mine. I mostly just listen to MP3s and surf anyway. But I know my battery is gonna be begging for mercy when I get FTB, just like it did when I got Coded Arms.

Wow this should be about the same general time. It depends, it didn't clarify what you are doing, more drainage for games then MP3s.

ilian, that's only if you don't take care of it. Proper charging and conditioning of a Lithium battery can prolong its lifetime greatly.

The differences could be, what games you play, how you play them, what brightness settings you use, how loud the volume is, whether or not you have a game that can read music from memory sticks, etc.
I think it's a reasonable poll, considering it'll vaguely go into different play styles using the psp.

if i am watching a movie with the volume all the way up it last for about 4 hours but when i play Need for speed legends with the volume off it lasts about 5+

when i'm playing a sports game like gretkzy then i usually turn the volume off and charge it when the battery is flashing

Mine actually lasts pretty long. It's never run out on me when I need it. I know the battery life isn't so good, but that's actually because many people said it is, in my opinion, it's so bad.

I spend most of my day watching movies and listening to MP3's on it. But i play with my GTA for about an hour every day.

I just recently got the Stamina battery from sony that lasts up to 20% longer.It's got 2200 mAh compared to the standard 1800 mAh.It's great I recommend you guys to get it.

really it depends on what your doing. watching a movie at full blast with speakers isnt going to drain nearly as much as looking at pictures

Actually Fearian... movies probably drain it the fastest due to the contsant reads of the UMD.
I want one of the extended batterys.

Yea but a regular battery lasts 4 to 5 hours depending on what you are doing. Surfin the net and stuff like that makes the battery power deplete faster. But that is cool that you would be able to play more. I'm thinking about getting that and a 512 mb memory card for it.
