I think that the white psp bites off of apple way to effing much. It's bad enough we have white earbuds and a remote but a white system on top of it?
Sony = Slick BLACK products. They are the lords of electronics encased in black. I mean could you imagine going into a Sony store and seeing all the black vaios, tvs (they are silver but silver is basiclly black... ) black mp3 players, black dvd players, black remotes, black video game consoles, and then this thing just pops up.

The apple thing is sort of true, but I want my PSP to match my iPod and iMac. The white seems more futuristic and clean in some way (to me). I wouldn't mind a yellow either (like at E3)

I dig on them both, but I'd rather the white one. This has nothing to do with the iPod - which, IMO, is a over-priced hunk of crap. Gimme $75.00 and I'll have an MP3 player that does everything the iPod does - play MP3's. No thanks.
So, knowing that iPod imitation is not on my list of good things: I think the white one is sharp, sleek and sexy. I have 2 black ones, but would gladly pimp one on eBay to snag a white one, should they come 'round this way.

I agree with widget, but I also alert for the fact that a white background doesn't enhance screen's luminosity as a black one does. I've seen, and somehow it looks like it has a less bright image (it's good if you don't turn it on much, though,  )

the white one is supersexy. I have it, and i don't want sony to release it here because it wouldn't be as unique anymore. Seeing as though sony has never released a different color ps2 here in the states, but dozens in japan I'd say the chances aren't good for a white psp stateside.

i like the white psp but it is japanese and i cant watch region 1 UMD's. So i'll stick do the american black psp

i personally don't see the attraction for white electronics. i love the shiny black of the PSP, and now i have my first 'real' iPod (not a mini or nano) and it matches my sweet black PSP. white is just to stark in contrast with all my other electronics. i dont like the idea that everyone is looking at my iPod 'cause it's white. it's also an easy target for pickpockets.

It looks bigger because the japanese version of the PSP has a better LCD than states.
