ha! itd be funny if microsoft came up with a handheld xbox!

why don't you look at sales figures before making a retarded post. it's already over, the ds is the undisputed champ.

Over? Not hardly. The new DS Lite has revitalized DS sales in the USA, to be sure, and Japan has favored the DS at least 2:1 (and more) since around mid-2005, but the PSP has sold worldwide around 15-17 million (20+ million shipped). The PSP outsold the DS for the first few months of 2005 and the two have swapped first place in the USA since March 2005 where the PSP has overall gained on the huge four month headstart the DS had over the '04 Christmas season.
Even after the huge first month of the DS Lite, the YTD figures for each are: DS = 5,186,092 and PSP = 4,713,872. I wouldn't say it's "already over" nor that the DS is the "undisputed champ." You're looking at the second wind for the DS, with the rush of big-name Mario titles like Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros, Princess Peach, Mario & Luigi and others. There's no shortage of promising PSP titles on the horizon, so I'm not really worried.
I don't think the PSP will wind up ending Nintendo's handheld presence, but it has unquestionably claimed a significant portion of the market. Another high end handheld from Microsoft coupled with a revised PSP (like the DS Lite) might swing the pendulum away from Nintendo again, as it seemed to be doing in the early days of DS vs. PSP.

yeah, i just want the handhelds to co-exist. so far the DS is slightly leading but PSP is right on it's tail.
plus DS will soon get good games (mario hoops, legend of zelda, FFcrystal chronicles), so who knows maybe sales will boost up again a bit, but hopefully same with the psp

If the psp's price drops they will probably sell more.

if ds isnt for babies its for old people. -_-

psp for more mature peps, ds for younger ones...simple......they wll share the market....
